A few weeks ago, J took us to the State Fair.
Every year for the past 10 years, I've gone with my friends and we've encountered the same thing. We'd walk through the exhibit halls and the salesmen would try to avoid showing us their products. I assumed it was a black thing, but this year I had J with me and the same distributors were falling all over themselves to get us to their booths. I guess they were waiting on the guy with the wallet!
We went to the Vitamix demo and it was also the same as previous years. The salesman put strawberries in the machine - with the leaves still on them. He put an apple in - core and all. He made soup. He made ice cream. He made salsa. Only one thing was different since J with us - we bought one!!!
I guess those salesmen know what they're doing...
Here we are stuffing our faces.
Jazzy spilled her drink so a lady sitting near us gave her this stuffed animal.
I can't believe how much it costs for two kids to ride a few rides. No wonder they make you buy tickets... you don't realize how much money you're spending.
Can we go home yet?

Oh.
My.
Goodness.
Oooh... I would pay a LOT of money right now to get my hands on some state fair food, like that delicious turkey leg in your husband's hands. Whoo... that is a bit too much for this pregnant-woman-overseas to handle without the sin of coveting. :)
Glad you guys had a good time, though. We've always had a blast at our State Fair!
