Tonight I browned and froze 3 lbs of ground beef in 1 lb servings for use in tacos, spaghetti sauce, soup, etc. It only took a few minutes, but will really come in handy when the baby is crying, the kids are restless and dinner needed to be on the table an hour ago.
I also froze 3 lbs of chicken strips in 1 lb servings using Kim's recipe. I have served these at several functions and they've always been a hit!
