Apple picking...

Last Thursday we took the kids to pick apples at a nearby orchard.

Here are the kids stomping back across the dam in the pond. I tried to get a picture of the dragonflies, but they wouldn't stay still.

Here's Drew petting the sheep dog. We also saw chickens, turkeys and a bee hive.

Another neat part of the orchard was the butterfly garden. She had the biggest butterflies I'd ever seen. She also had a pizza garden. I think the kids were expecting to see pizza growing in it.

Andrew had fun picking up sticks, but unfortunately pulled one from a fire ant bed. He only got a few bites!

After we weighed and paid for the apples, J took us to a fried chicken restaurant. We ate so much we hurt ourselves, literally!
