Zay helped, too.
I only repositioned one ornament. Well... three at the most.
I had decided to keep Christmas simple this year, but I stuffed a bunch of presents under the tree anyway. I can't wait to see their happy faces on Christmas morning.
Every year, I buy one of those overpriced Hallmark keepsake ornaments. The year God miraculously restored my father-in-law from his death bed, we bought a lion holding a lamb that read, "I Love Grandpa." This year we bought one for Zay - Baby's First Christmas.
Oh, yes... she dropped it. The really fun part about collecting keepsake ornaments is remembering how some of them got broken. I have to glue Baby Bop's head on every year and Buzz Lightyear is beyond repair.
The kids asked me if they could play with the special ornaments and I told them those ornaments are mine. When they grow up and spend Christmas with their own families, I'll look at the ornaments and remember the special times we had together.
I asked the kids if they're going to take care of me when I'm old. Drew said, "Yes! I'm going to take you to the mall and buy you lots of food to eat." Jazzy said, "I'm going to take you to the donut store!" Guess what your kids are going to do with you if you drop them off with other people all the time?
I felt guilty for being selfish with the ornaments, so I let Drew play with Joseph.
Good thing I didn't let him play with baby Jesus.

Ha ha! That's what happened to all our nativity figures. Oh well, they were cheapies anyway. I bought some toy Schleich figures for a Christmas Eve gift this year, but I can't guarantee plastic will even hold up to my kids' playing.
It's so funny...I glue ornaments together every year too. Glad I'm not the only one. :)
Funny!
The hand just laying there! :-)
