I'm not who I want to be...

but thank God I'm not who I used to be!

I used to be the kind of mom who said, "Kids, GO PLAY!"
Now I'm the kind of mom who says, "Hey kids, let's bake cookies!"
I want to be the kind of mom who says, "Hey kids, what do YOU want to do today?"

I used to be the kind of wife that said, "Sorry, honey."
Now I'm the kind of wife that says, "Sure honey!"
I want to be the kind of wife who says, "Honey, how can I bless you today?"

I'm a perfectionist and easily discouraged, but I try to remember that He WILL complete the work.
